Rotation is where you run the karaoke show. The line on the left tells you whose turn is coming, while the right side shows songs and details for the singer you select. Number one is the on-mic position, and number two is on deck. A group shares one numbered turn. For this walkthrough, use a disposable show so you can practice without changing a live lineup.

Start by adding a singer beneath the line. Type the stage name and press the plus button or Enter. If this is a returning singer, you can also use Past singers. Click the row once and check the name above Song search and beside Singer. Those headings tell you who will receive the next song you add.

Search for a title or artist. Read the title, artist, and brand before pressing Add. The song should appear in the selected singer's Active Queue. If we use Bob as our example and add Evening Orbit, we should now see that title in Bob's queue. The name and song are fictional; the important check is that the destination is correct. A Taken result cannot be added with its normal Add button. If you have more matches, use Load more.

You can add several songs for the same singer. Drag an unplayed song or use the up and down arrows to arrange the order. The cross removes an unplayed request. Be careful with double-click: on an Active Queue row it means play now. Use a single click when you only want to inspect. If a different singer is already on the mic, read the interruption warning before deciding whether to interrupt, when that warning is enabled.

History and Favorites answer different questions. History records songs the singer has performed, including persistent or imported history. Sort it by song, artist, number of performances, or last sung. Double-click an available song or drag it into Active Queue to request it again. Favorites shows songs the linked singer account starred in the phone app. A starred song does not have to be frequently performed. A row that is missing from the current library cannot be queued through that entry. The Favorites panel depends on account linkage and an online lookup, so an empty panel is not proof that the singer has never saved anything.

If a singer wants to change an unplayed request, right-click it and choose Change song. Pick search, their queue, or history, then read the replacement banner. Add from search or Use this on an eligible row makes the selected song take the old request's place. Check the finished queue, especially after an error. Cancel or Escape leaves replacement mode, as does changing tabs or singers. Group songs cannot be replaced in place this way, and a song already on the mic is protected. The search menu's Queue for command still adds a request, so do not use that shortcut to complete a replacement.

Alternate versions need special care. Right-click a search result and open Select alternate version. Choosing a version asks whether to make it the default. This affects future requests from search, phones, and the kiosk, and the source also switches tonight's queued copies. The version menus on the rotation row and Active Queue have that same wider effect. Read the file and brand, and cancel if you only meant to inspect. For a single pending phone request, use its Version selector in Inbox.

Preview karaoke song lets you inspect a track through the karaoke preview. Configure a separate headphone cue output first. If cue is off or shares an output with karaoke or Break-Wave, you may get silent video preview with an explanatory message. Stop the preview when finished. Rename and Quarantine affect the real library, so save those maintenance actions for a deliberate review of the exact file.

Now check the player before starting a turn. When playback is idle, Play starts the selected singer's playable request if there is one. Otherwise it starts the next rotation slot. While a song is playing, the same transport control pauses it; while paused, it resumes. The icon can still look like Play when another singer is selected, so use the actual playback state as your guide.

Volume controls the track level. Key changes pitch in half-step increments, and Tempo changes playback speed. During a loaded performance, key and tempo adjustments are saved for the first named singer and that song. The progress slider seeks when the track has a duration. Ghost-Trax guide-vocal sliders work only when that package has the relevant stems. The current song's singer editor can add or remove extra participants while leaving the lead singer fixed. Check the lineup and apply the change.

Use Pause for a temporary interruption. Stop stops the audio and attempts to complete the turn. After stopping, verify that the expected song is completed, the next requested song remains with the right singer, and the line has advanced correctly. Do not rely only on the Song completed message if another part of the screen shows an error. Auto-advance is optional; enable it only when you want the next turn to begin automatically, using the delay configured in Settings.

You can drag a singer to change the main lineup. The context menu also offers Mark as now, Mark as on deck, and Play now where applicable. Those choices have different effects, so check both the numbered line and the now-playing display. Pause moves an eligible solo singer into Paused and Waiting. Unpause restores them behind the protected on-deck area, after people already waiting to return, rather than promising one fixed position number.

For a duet, trio, or four-person song, use the group button. Choose a different singer for each microphone, optionally give the group a band name, choose the song, and add it to their queues. The song becomes ready when it reaches the top of every member's queue. Watch the waiting and consent indicators. If one person was accidentally entered twice, Rename or Merge can help, but check which identity survives. Remove takes away the seat and queued songs after confirmation; use Pause when the singer is only stepping away.
00:06:28.083 | rotation-14
The controls below the line also set how new singers join. Names move sends a new singer to the end of the line. Numbers move uses a paper-style host sheet and seats newcomers at the end of the current lap. Alternate new and returning singers overrides the joining policy for future arrivals. Choose the ratio and direction, then read the phrase underneath. New means the singer has not completed a song in this show. Current and on-deck turns stay protected, and this does not rearrange every existing singer retroactively.

Auto-remove empty singers is useful near the end of the night. Eligible empty singers leave the active rotation after their final song; pending requests, groups, and pauses remain protected, and identity and history stay available. It resets off for a new show. Show applause and Show singer photos control additional information on the queue. The context menu also offers phone messages, account badges, and a show-scoped ban. A ban rejects the phone connection but leaves the seat in the line, and can be reversed in Settings. Photo moderation can hide a photo tonight, hide it at your shows, or report it, without deleting the singer's stored picture.

Finish by checking the correct singer, queued file, remaining songs, and next turn. Before using the workflow live, test your real speakers, headphone cue, lyrics screen, rotation display, and one singer phone. This guide is source reviewed for version 1.30; those real-world checks still belong on the actual show rig.
