Gigs is the eighth desktop tab, after Settings. We will create a fictional venue, schedule gigs, switch the selected show, and review deletion and Instant gig. This is a source-rendered simulation. Account, map, and connection examples do not verify a live service.

The This show card identifies the selected gig or LAN-only mode. On the gig rows, This show, Tonight, and Live are separate labels. The list puts tonight first, followed by repeating gigs and other one-night gigs. Refresh reloads both gigs and venues.

Use for this show selects another saved gig and reconnects in cloud mode. It also applies that gig’s blocked-song list. It does not clear the rotation or run Start Fresh Session. Switch to LAN only is in the This show card. In LAN-only mode, singers must use this network and the local QR code.

Under Venues, choose New venue. This opens the same venue form available inside New gig. Standard venue creation needs a name and street address.

00:01:04.333 | gigs-05

Enter Demo Annex and a visibly fictional address, then Add venue. Real addresses are geocoded by the server; this fixture returns a staged record and does not test geocoding.

00:01:16.250 | gigs-06

One night uses a single date. Set the sample times to seven through eleven, and uncheck Switch this show to the new gig so the selected show stays where it is.

00:01:27.500 | gigs-07

Create gig saves the sample schedule. Verify its new row and that the previously selected show remains selected. The default checked switch would have selected the new gig immediately.

00:01:40.083 | gigs-08

Now choose Use for this show on Demo Annex. Its This show badge appears, and its Delete button is disabled. The app requires switching away before deleting the selected gig.

00:01:52.083 | gigs-09

New gig also supports weekly schedules. Keep Demo Annex selected, choose Friday and Saturday, and leave the switch unchecked so the selected show stays where it is.

00:02:03.250 | gigs-10

Create the weekly gig and verify Every Friday and Saturday in its row.

00:02:09.000 | gigs-11

For a monthly gig, add a rule such as first Friday. The UI offers first through fourth occurrences. Last and fifth are not choices. Review the added rule before saving.

00:02:20.583 | gigs-12

Create the monthly gig. Its row now shows the first Friday rule, independently of the other Annex schedules.

00:02:28.583 | gigs-13

Delete on the unused weekly gig opens a confirmation. Read the warning before deciding.

00:02:35.250 | gigs-14

Choose Keep to cancel. The weekly gig remains in the list.

00:02:40.167 | gigs-15

Open the weekly deletion again. We will remove this disposable schedule after reviewing its confirmation.

00:02:47.417 | gigs-16

Confirm Delete, then Refresh. The row stays gone. The app no longer recreates a deleted gig for a venue during refresh.

00:02:56.083 | gigs-17

The selected venue’s Delete button is disabled while this show uses one of its gigs.

00:03:02.667 | gigs-18

Switch to a different saved gig before removing the disposable Annex venue. Check that the This show card now names that other venue.

00:03:12.417 | gigs-19

Delete Demo Annex from Venues and read the confirmation: the venue and its gigs go together. Real deletion can also remove related shows and requests, including old gigs hidden from this list.

00:03:25.750 | gigs-20

Confirm this disposable venue deletion. Verify that Demo Annex and both remaining schedules disappear.

00:03:33.250 | gigs-21

Instant gig is the fast path. Leave name and address blank and press Start instant gig. The name defaults to Instant Gig. If location is unavailable and no address is supplied, the venue can be unmapped and singers would use its show code. This simulation does not request or verify a real location.

00:03:53.333 | gigs-22

The instant schedule uses today on this computer, from the current quarter hour to six hours later. A matching saved venue is reused. Supplying an address, or permitting location for a new venue, can locate it for the singer map; this recording does not test that map.

00:04:11.250 | gigs-23

A cloud outage can leave a cached list on screen. Read the offline notice and use Refresh to check again. Creating or deleting account records still needs internet, even while local hosting can continue. An example offline notice is not evidence that a real connection was tested.

00:04:30.167 | gigs-24

If Instant gig fails, read the error and check the connection before retrying. A failed or uncertain request does not prove whether the server created a record. Refresh and inspect the list before submitting another one.

00:04:45.083 | gigs-25

Gigs owns the show connection and Switch to LAN only. Settings owns the LAN network interface. Use the Gigs section of the Field Guide for account-backed gig management. These source-rendered examples do not verify real licensing, cloud access, singer discovery, or native hardware.
