Auto-KJ is karaoke rotation software run by Paul Kircher. This page describes the data the service actually keeps. Questions go to support@auto-kj.com.
Account
If you create an account we store the email address, display name, and sign-in credentials for that account. We email that address for verification codes and password resets. You can delete the account from the account page on auto-kj.com. That delete removes the account, its shows, and its history from our database.
Shows and requests
When you run a show we store what the rotation needs: singer names you type or that people submit, song requests as artist and title, and the live order. If you add a place, we store the name and street address you entered. A singer account, if someone creates one, stores that email plus the requests and history tied to it.
Your karaoke files stay on your computer. We do not upload the audio or video. If you use the songbook, we store artist and title metadata for search — not the media files.
Payments
Paid plans are billed by Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s checkout page. We do not see or store the card. We keep the plan, subscription status, and license key on the account so the app can activate.
This website
Marketing pages load a stats counter we run ourselves at stats.auto-kj.com (Umami). It is set up without cookies and without personal profiles. Pages also load fonts from Google Fonts.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell personal information. We don’t use it for advertising. We share it with the services that run the product — Stripe for payments, and our email sender for verification and password reset — and when the law requires it.
