Auto-KJ is free and open source software, licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0.

What This Means

• Freedom to use — Run Auto-KJ for any purpose, including commercial karaoke hosting
• Freedom to study — Access and read the full source code at github.com/pkircher29/auto-kj
• Freedom to modify — Change the software to suit your needs
• Freedom to share — Redistribute original or modified versions

Conditions

If you distribute modified versions of Auto-KJ, you must:

• License your modifications under GPL-3.0 as well
• Make the source code of your modifications available
• Preserve copyright notices and the license text
• State significant changes made to the software

Paid Services

The Auto-KJ desktop application is free and open source under GPL-3.0. Server-side features (Singer PWA, remote requests, cloud sync, etc.) are offered as paid services. These services are governed by their own terms of service, not the GPL-3.0 license.

The server code that handles licensing and payments is not covered by the GPL-3.0 license applied to the desktop application.
