PCDJ Karaoki is Windows karaoke host software. The product page sells it at $99, and that purchase activates the app on three Windows computers. A 14-day trial is fully functional. After that, the app asks for an activation code. You play your own files. Karaoke Cloud Pro is an optional in-app subscription if you do not own a library. The product page also mentions a built-in a la carte song store and does not list its price, so this page does not invent one.
Auto-KJ is karaoke host software for tracks you already have, on Windows x64 and ARM64, Intel and Apple Silicon Mac, and Linux x64. The Free version is $0 and is desk-entered only. The Full version is about $10 a month for one live show, plus $5 a month for each extra simultaneous show, or $500 paid once. The 60-day Full version trial does not ask for a card and does not auto-bill. Auto-KJ does not sell a song catalog.
Download the Free version of Auto-KJ if you need Mac or Linux, or if phones should come with the Full version instead of a second request bill.

Playback, rotation, and phones
Karaoki plays MP3+G, zipped MP3+G (zip 2.0), unzipped WAV+G, and most video if the codecs are installed. Key steps are a quarter, half, or full semi-tone. Tempo can change without the key. The singer screen can list the next five names, and that count is configurable, plus a ticker. Filler music runs between singers. Song books print or export. History stores the key. Shows save per venue. Solo Artist mode is a set list. One optional timer removes a singer after 20 seconds.
Phone requests are extra. SongBookDB is $19 a month after a 30-day trial, or $15 a month paid annually. A singer can send a key change. You click a request into the rotation, or you auto-accept. The Karaoki page instead says $19.95 a month and does not list the annual price. KaraoQuest is on the feature list as a free iOS app. Auto-KJ puts phones in the Full version: browser, QR code, show code, GPS, or LAN. The Free version stays at the desk. The Fairness Engine and the simulator cover duets, late arrivals, pauses, and song changes. Break-Wave plays the break.
Karaoke Cloud Pro, if you need songs
Karaoke Cloud Pro is $19.99 a month. Cancel before day 15 or the 14-day trial bills that amount. It requires a licensed copy of Karaoki. Tracks download for offline shows. Log in on the billing day, or up to 48 hours later, so those files stay playable. One subscription covers three machines, downloaded onto each. PCDJ says the files are DRM-protected and tied to that computer. At least 10 tracks are added each week, and songs can leave when a license ends. The page states more than one catalog size, so no song count is quoted here. An empty drive can start there, or with KaraFun Pro. Auto-KJ does not include a licensed catalog.
When Karaoki is the right call
The booth is Windows, three activations is enough, and the $99 license is the one you want. You print song books, or singers already use SongBookDB or KaraoQuest. You may add Karaoke Cloud Pro instead of buying every track yourself.
When Auto-KJ is the right call
Download the Free version tonight. Use the 60-day Full version trial when phones matter. The same app also has to run on a Mac or on Linux. Duets and late arrivals follow the karaoke host software, not a handwritten exception.
Karaoki's requirements block asks for Windows 10 or Windows 11, a 2.0 GHz Intel i-series 3 or greater (or an AMD 64 x2 or greater), 4 GB of RAM or more, 200 MB free, and a graphics card with 256 MB dedicated, or Intel HD 4000 or later. Auto-KJ does not publish a minimum RAM number. The installer is on the Windows page.
